Teardrops from the Clouds

Savanna G. S.

The Rain falls from the clouds
It hits the roofs, “Bang, Bang, Bang!” very loud.
Children jump in the puddles.
While others stay warm in the house, giving cuddles.
Rivers keep flowing and flowing,
And the wind keeps blowing and blowing.
Wild animals are hibernating in a peaceful sleep,
And the clouds are still crying a very loud weep,
But when the drops are stopping,
The children end their hopping.
The sun peeks through the trees.
The birds sing in the air, and “Buzzz,” go the bees.
A colorful streak of light makes an arc through the sky,
As the rain and the clouds go, “Goodbye.”
The children all sing and dance,
While Heaven looks down at them with a cheerful glance.
